(WARNING: RANT JOURNAL.)

OMG! I don't know why I'm about to write what I'm about to write, but I'm gonna do it anyways- ok? OK. >]

Okaaaayyyy~ Yesterday the anime (impulse bought) that I ordered came in~ Whoooo~!!!! *par-taaaay*
What anime was it, you ask? None other than that fabulous little bloodsoaked romp throught the night that is Baccano! XDDDD *bloody dance*
Anywayyyy! It's a pretty short little anime with only about 16 episodes, though the "end " kinda feels like episode 13(?)....though there is NO END as it is a show that repeatedly reminds you that it NEVER ENDS~ <3 LOL
Ummmmmm~ Yeah, you've probably already figured out that I watched all of it...and all of it in one sitting! YEAH!!!! *fistpump* XD Yeah...It took me til anout 3 in the morning, but it was awesome~ <3 <3 <3

I actually had some mixed feelings about it when I first started...It's not a typical anime to be sure, and it doesn't follow a linear fomula,I guess. Like...they jump back and forth in time a lot(the show,not the characters) and so ya kinda have to pay attention or you'll be like, "WTF? When did we get here, and why isn't he maimed and junk anymore?! " It's not difficult to follow though, since it primarily deals with like, 4-5 years, and mainly focuses on like 3 of them.

It's also somewhat unique,I think, in that there's no 'definate' main character. The story focuses on several events, the charcters' parts in each, and how those characters influence one another. ^w^ So, it's kinda like either "everyone's a main chara" or "no one is"~ XD
It's a slice of lifeeee~ XD

Speaking of the characters.....they're just GREAT,OMGosh! *A* I know I'm very biased about it, but I can't remember the last time I watched a show where I literally just fell in love the characters... Like, there are so many to watch or whatever, that in the beginning- I didn't feel too much for any of them--- Mainly because it feels like just as you're starting to like them, the show up and changes to another person or another person's perspective. As the story goes on, you learn more and more about them...and just freakin FALL IN LOVE! It's Amazing!!!!!! <3 <3 <3

OMGosh! A few other little comments!
1)Their NAMES, OMGosh, THEIR NAMES!!!!!
Some of them are just ridiculous!!! XD One of the most-so being "Jacuzzi Splot"~ Now, I actually like Jacuzzi as a name(and his character's sweet as pie), even if it does make me think of whirlpools and stuff,LOL. But seriously Splot?! That is like the most unattractive thing to name something~ It leaves a bad taste in your mouth just saying it!!! XD
There is also a guy named Luck and a chick named Nice, even though they pronounce the chick's name like "neice". Then there are other names that just amuse me, even if they aren't especially odd in and of themselves~ XD ( Like the dude named Claire~<3 -Love him,BTW- )

2)The music is very jazzy and nice, but I kinda felt like they didn't have...enough of it? Like, I dunno. Shutting up~ I liked of it more than others.*nods*

3)I watched the first episode in Japanese-with subs,of course- but for some reason watching it in English made it easier to process. So,I watched it in English! XD In English, they have accents (oh,the story takes place in America BTW~ <3) like....yeaaah~ At first I was a bit put off, but the main guys' accents aren't real heavy so it didn't bother me once I got used to it --which took all of 2 episodes~ XD)
But it amused me greatly at first~ XDDDD (Mobstas~ XD)

4)LOTS OF BLOOOOOD! Lots of graphic violence tooo! XD Soooo...If you're reeeally easyily upset, probably not the best anime for you. That stuff doesn't bother me so much in anime, but I was still like, "Wow. Ouch! OMGAWD! Wicked! Oh,Dear! That's Ridiculous.....Awesome!" XDDDD

5)Lots of crazy people who are hard to kill! Love crazy people? Well, they've got some bat-crazy ones in this show: All endearing in their own ways~~ XDDD(keep the spoilers out of all this~)

Hmmmm~ I won't do a synopsis or anything...they're easy enough to find...plus it's kinda hard to talk about it without spoilng stuff...so, GO WATCH IT!!!! XD

Ummmm, yeaaaah! Sorry about that rant! I finished (this morning) and haven't been able to tell anyone about my experience....>w>;
